The Vietnamesedelegation to the event was led by General Secretary of the VietnamUnion of Friendship Organisations Nguyen Thi Hoang Van.
The seminar also drew the participation of representatives fromassociations for friendship and solidarity with Vietnam from France,Belgium, Swiss and Denmark.
According toorganisers, the seminar aimed to seek new orientations and ideas for thefuture of the solidarity with Vietnam in the context of drasticchanges in the Vietnam and world situations as well as Vietnam’spartial integration into the global economy.
In hisopening remark, GAFA President Prof. Dr. Guenter Giesenfeld said thatVietnam is a moving country with many fundamental changes, expressinghis belief in the prospects of the solidarity with Vietnam.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh stated that inthe current equal partnership relations, the associations for friendshipwith Vietnam can do many things for Vietnam, including providinginformation on bilateral ties, particularly in culture and science.-VNA
