The figure was announced by Vice Chairman and General Secretary of theVietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS)’s Central Committee Doan Van Thai at asigning ceremony of a bilateral cooperation programme for the 2013-2015period between the two societies in Hanoi on May 22.
Thai highly valued the two sides’ traditional cooperation,particularly humanitarian activities conducted by the GRC and expressedhis hope that their cooperation will foster these activities inVietnam .
At the event, Head of the GRC’sInternational Services and National Relief Division Richert Johannesaffirmed that the GRC will continue supporting Vietnam’shumanitarian activities in the coming time.
Thebilateral cooperation programme for the 2013-2015 focuses onenvironment, climate change prevention and enhancement of VRCS’s staffcapacity.-VNA
